I am a third-generation farmer specialising in free-range egg production, as well as producing a number of arable crops. I have been planting woodland over the years, but I've noticed it becoming harder to source trees within the UK, which is worrying when you consider the ever-mounting reasons to stop importing trees from abroad. I wanted to do my bit to help. Being a custodian of the land, it is important to me that we treat it with respect, which is why it is important to me that Rymer Trees and Hedging uses responsible techniques.
My favourite tree is a Eucalyptus in a controlled setting. I know they're an invasive species in South Africa, but they do bring back fond memories of my time out there.
